Privacy Policy - Combo Blocks

At Melen Studio, the privacy of our players is a top priority. This Privacy Policy explains what Combo Blocks (the "App") does with information, who receives it and the choices you have. This game is rated for all audiences (Everyone / rated 10+). Combo Blocks has no user accounts, no login and no social chat, and it never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Your game progress (high scores, recent score history for local percentile comparison, adventure level, daily and victory streaks, streak shields, daily challenge completions, and typical play-hour timestamps used solely on-device to schedule reminders), your settings (language, board skin, music, sound, vibration, and notifications toggle) and any saved game in progress are stored only locally on your device via standard device storage. They are not sent to our servers. Uninstalling the App or clearing its application data removes these local records.

2. Services We Use

The App integrates reputable third-party services to ensure game stability, balance and technical operations. These services may process technical identifiers such as an advertising ID, an app-instance ID, your IP address, device model, operating system version and language:

• Google Firebase Analytics: collects anonymous gameplay events (such as game modes played, session duration, combo achievements and retention milestones). Analytics collection operates on a fail-closed basis and only activates when telemetry consent is granted.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics: collects technical crash and crash-free diagnostic reports with device specifications and app version details to help us identify and resolve bugs, subject to the same consent gate.
• Google Firebase Remote Config: downloads remote game parameters (such as ad cadence, cross-promotion configurations and update notices). It does not transmit gameplay data.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivers push messages and updates. It uses a temporary device token and functions only if you grant notification permissions.
• Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): displays advertisements (interstitials and optional rewarded placements) to keep the game free. In regions where required by law (such as the EEA, the UK, and select US states), Google's consent form is presented and advertising/telemetry is restricted according to your consent. Regional ad-serving eligibility is checked locally using your device locale without external IP geolocation lookups.
• Google Play In-App Review: enables you to rate and review the game directly within the App when you choose to do so.
• Studio Cross-Promotion: the "More Games" directory and in-house fallback promotional videos for other Melen Studio titles are retrieved and cached from public studio servers (including GitHub), which receive your IP address when files are fetched. Because Combo Blocks is rated for general audiences without an age gate, 13+ (teen-rated) titles are automatically excluded from the "More Games" catalog. Tapping a title opens its official Google Play Store page after user confirmation.

3. Advertising and Content Rating

Advertisements help support ongoing development. All advertisements requested through Google AdMob adhere to a maximum content rating of PG (suitable for general audiences). Rewarded ads are strictly optional: you only view one when you choose to continue a game run after game over, undo your last move, or rescue a lost daily streak (with fallback to interstitial or in-house studio cross-promotion ads when needed).

In jurisdictions where consent is legally mandated, you can review or modify your consent preferences at any time using the Privacy options item in the in-game Settings menu (when available in your region) or through your device settings.

4. Notifications

Daily challenge and streak reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device and require no personal data. The App shows an in-game prompt before requesting Android's system notification permission. You can toggle notifications on or off at any time in the in-game Settings or directly in your device's system settings.

5. Your Choices and Controls

• Privacy Options (Settings): allows you to review and adjust your advertising consent choices at any time in supported regions.
• Notifications Toggle (Settings): allows you to turn off local game reminders at any time.
• Android Device Settings: you can reset or delete your advertising identifier and adjust personalized ad preferences across your device.

6. Data Retention and Your Rights

We do not collect names, emails, addresses or direct personal identity information. Aggregated technical analytics and diagnostic crash logs are retained by Google Firebase under standard retention policies and are never used to personally identify players.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under applicable privacy legislation (such as GDPR, LGPD, and CCPA/CPRA) regarding access, deletion, or objection. To inquire about identifiers associated with your installation or make any request, please contact us.

7. Security and Policy Updates

All network communication with external services uses HTTPS encryption. We may periodically update this policy to reflect changes in functionality or regulatory compliance. The date at the top of this document indicates the effective revision.
